There are various options for getting around within the area. Most destinations are easily accessible using your own two feet, but if you prefer wheels, rentals are conveniently available from various companies located within the village. Puerto Morelos has its own taxi system with drivers that know the town well, there is a local bus system, and many options for bicycle rentals.
If you want to get to Cancún or Playa del Carmen, they are an easy, comfortable, and air-conditioned 30-minute ride on the ADO bus. Tickets are available at the kiosk beside the highway overpass.
